Hand-formed by ceramic artist Murakami Yō, the Tsuki-Kage (月影 or moon-shadow) Sakazuki draws its silhouette from the quiet curve of moonlight settling over the horizon. Murakami’s signature natural textures — created through slow, sculptural shaping — give the vessel a living presence, as though carved from shadow and earth. Each piece embodies more than 30 years of the artist’s ceramic practice, where subtle imperfections become a form of expression. A refined vessel for sake, tea, or contemplative display.
